[AWARDS] Seniors Teresa Noyola and Lindsay Taylor of national champion Stanford are among the 15 players named semifinalists for the 2011 Missouri Athletic
Club’s Hermann Trophy.
For the second time in as many years, Adrianna Franch (Oklahoma State), Sarah Hagen (Milwaukee), Katie Stengel (Wake Forest) and Ingrid Wells (Georgetown) are among the 15 semifinalists.
The lone freshman is Virginia's Morgan Brian.
Division I head coaches with current membership in the NSCAA will vote to determine the 2011 MAC Hermann Trophy recipient. Three finalists for the award will be announced on Friday. They will be invited to the Missouri Athletic Club in St. Louis for a news conference Jan. 6, 2012, where the winner will be announced. The annual dinner and formal presentation of the award will follow the news conference that evening.
