Real Madrid has been criticized for a conservative approach in its previous clashes with archrival Barcelona under Coach Jose Mourinho.
Mourinho did not attend the pre-Clasico press conference on Friday, but assistant coach Aitor Karanka said Real would field
three strikers in an aggressive 4-3-3 formation for the first clasico of the season (Saturday 4 pm ET on GolTV and ESPN3).
Karanka said that Real will play prolific Portuguese goalscorer
Cristiano Ronaldo up front alongside Angel di Maria and either Gonzalo Higuain or Karim Benzema.
