2011 Soccer America's Best Girls Clubs

[RANKINGS] The Players Development Academy, known as PDA, is first in Soccer America's annual girls rankings. The New Jersey club edged out Illinois powerhouse Eclipse Select.

PDA tops the Soccer America girls rankings for the first time since their launch in 2003, the year of PDA's first of two U.S. Youth national titles.

Since then, PDA has won 17 regional championships and the PDA Slammers' 2011 U-15 title ended the club's USYS title drought.

PDA was also one of only two clubs to place two teams in the top five of the second season of the Elite Clubs National League.

In 2010, the Tsunami won the U-17 ECNL championship and the Charge was the runner-up in the U-16 division.

Club profiles appear in Soccer America's Best Girls Clubs feature in the Best of American Soccer 2011 magazine, which is included in magazine subscriptions and also available for purchase (see below).

Criteria: Soccer America selects the top 30 clubs based on success of their teams in national youth competitions over the last three years (2009-11) and the selection of their players to national youth teams and other national achievements in 2011. Club profiles may reference other accomplishments but accomplishments of former players and the number of players placed in college are not considered.
