[MLS TRANSACTIONS] The Seattle Sounders signed Swedish international defender Adam Johansson from IFK Gothenburg to a multi-year contract. The San Jose Earthquakes acquired Honduran international defender Victor Bernardez, who spent three seasons with Belgian giant Anderlecht before playing for Lierse (Belgium) and Indios (Mexico) while on loan.
