Vinotino calls up Renteria and Moreno

[USA-VENEZUELA] Venezuela national team coach Cesar Farias called up Columbus Crew forward Emilio Renteria and Chivas USA forward Alejandro Moreno for the Vinotino's friendlies against the United States on Jan. 21 at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., and Mexico four days later in Houston.

The majority of the 24 players called in have been training in Puerto La Cruz.

The only player in the squad who started in Venezuela's last World Cup 2014 qualifier -- a 1-0 win over Bolivia in November -- is former New York Red Bulls defender Gabriel Cichero, who is currently serving a five-month ban from playing for his French second division club Lens for attacking a Bastia player.
