Brian Ching now committed to Montreal

When the Houston Dynamo, for which he starred six seasons, left Brian Ching exposed in November's Expansion Draft, the 2004 Golden Boot winner stated he would prefer to retire than
play for Montreal.
But all's well now with Ching, who played in the MLS newcomer's exhibition against Chivas Guadalajara on Sunday, a scoreless tie.
"At this point, my focus is
on helping this team gel quickly and instill a good, winning work ethic and intense practices,” Ching said. “A lot of it is trying to get guys on the same page to think the same way and be
hard to play against. ...
"I’m 100 percent committed to that right now."
