Swanson takes 20 players to Spain

[U.S. UNDER-20 WOMEN] The U.S. under-20 women’s national team will travel to La Manga, Spain, Friday for the Four Nations Tournament that also features Switzerland, Germany and Norway. U.S. head coach Steve Swanson has called up 20 players, including five in high school. Both goalkeepers, Bryane Heaberlin of the Clearwater Chargers and Abby Smith of the Dallas Texans, are high school seniors.

Swanson is preparing his squad for Concacaf Qualifying that will take place in Panama City, Panama, March 1-11.
