Bennett joins Wildcats from Texans

[ARIZONA] Another coach from the Dallas Texans program is on the move. Arizona head coach Lisa Oyen has announced the hiring of Tim Bennett as associate head coach of the Wildcats.

Ryan Higginbotham from the Texans will serve as  Eric Bell's assistant at TCU.

Bennett spent the past three years as a staff coach for the Texans. Previously, he served as the associate head coach for the Iowa State women's team in 2008 and was the head women's coach at Portland State for three seasons and at North Dakota for one season.

Bennett joins assistant coach Danielle Sunderhaus, who is entering her third season at the school, to complete the coaching staff.

At Arizona, Bennett's primary responsibilities will be to oversee the program's recruiting efforts and work with goalkeepers. Bennett will also lead the video and game analysis aspects of the program.

"Danielle and I are very excited to welcome Tim Bennett and his wife to our Wildcat family," Oyen said. "Tim brings an incredible amount of experience to our program having been a head coach as well as an assistant coach at the collegiate level, in addition to his time spent the past two years with one of the most successful club programs in the nation."
