Galaxy falls to New England

[DESERT DIAMOND CUP] The defending champion Los Angeles Galaxy's preseason troubles continued as it fell to the England Revolution, 3-2, at the Desert Diamond Cup in Tucson, Ariz.

Benny Feilhaber put the Revs ahead with a goal on a bicycle kick in the 2nd minute. The Galaxy twice equalized, but New England won on trialist Jeremiah White's goal in the 74th minute.

Los Angeles is now 1-4-0 against MLS opposition in preseason. It's conceded 10 goals in the five games.

Real Salt Lake beat New York Red Bulls, 1-0, in the second game on Paulo Jr.'s goal.

The Red Bulls started only two players who were on the team last season and used nine guest players in the match.

The doubleheader drew 5,547 fans.
