Ferdinand and Lampard not in Pearce's squad

[ENGLAND] Interim coach Stuart Pearce's first squad includes newcomers Fraizer Campbell and Tom Cleverley, but veterans Rio Ferdinand and Frank Lampard are not in England's 25-player squad for the friendly against the Netherlands Wednesday at Wembley. And John Terry, at the center of the controversy that led to Fabio Capello's departure, is not in the squad as he is sidelined with a knee injury.

The FA's decision to strip Terry of his captaincy against Capello's wishes led to his departure. Pearce did not name a captain for the Netherlands game.
