[AMERICANS ABROAD] Clint Dempsey continued his hot streak for Fulham, scoring two goals in the Cottagers' 5-0 win over
Wolves to tie his career record with 12 EPL goals this season. He has nine goals in 10 games overall in 2012 and 18 goals for the 2011-12 season. The win was Fulham's third in a row in the EPL -- the
first time in almost three years -- and moved the Cottagers into a tie for eighth place.
Russian Pavel Pogrebnyak, signed on loan from VfB
Stuttgart on transfer deadline day, hit a hat trick for the other three goals at Craven Cottage on Sunday.
Dempsey's 12 goals, which tie the American record he set last season, put him
seventh in the EPL in scoring this season.

Fulham-Wolves Highlights:
Clintinho!!
in looking at Clint the past weekend, one thing that stands out to me, he looks really fit, more healthy, s slimmer, faster player than last year. Am I the only one that sees this? I saw a clean look about him...faster, cleaner, trim, fit player...no scruffy beard, no black bags under eyes, etc..a really clean , sharp look about him...what I like to see in a player...GREAT JOB CLINT DEMPSEY!!! Keep at it...like your style..
I would love it if Fulham was tied for third, but in reality, the club is tied for eighth. And Ernest, you don't see the scruffy beard Clint is still sporting?! You remind of those coaches that insisted that all players have short hair, as if appearances have anything to do with skill and ability. Ridiculous.
Paul Kennedy, thanks for editing the article to note Fulham's correct place in the standings.
