[ODP CHAMPIONSHIPS] Florida followed up a 3-0 victory in the semis with a 3-0 win over Michigan in the championship game to take the 1996 title at the 2012 U.S.Youth Soccer ODP Championships at FC Dallas Stadium in Frisco, Texas. It was Florida’s first ever ODP championship. Michigan ended Virginia’s quest to repeat as ODP champions with a 1-0 win inthe 1995 boys final.
Morgan Shepard (Fusion FC), Samuel Vinson (West Pines United) and
Dalton Amez‘s blast from about 25 yards was the game winner for Michigan.
