Chelsea’s Spanish forward Fernando Torres, who arrived at Chelsea from Liverpool last January for an $80 million transfer fee, ended his 26-game scoreless streak with two goals ina 5-2 win over Leicester on Sunday in the FA Cup quarterfinals.

“I needed those goals. I’ve been working so hard to get them,” Torres said. “Maybe the job of a striker is to score goals and ifyou don’t do it people think you’re playing badly. But the support has been here and I feel the confidence of the [new] manager [Roberto di Matteo] now. We have some important games coming.”
