Tulsa Union upsets Georgia champion

[HIGH SCHOOL] The 2012 Brine Tournament of Champions in Jekyll Island, Ga., featured teams from Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee and Oklahoma, helping some of the top spring programs in the country get an idea how they rank nationally. The big surprise was St. Pius X's 2-1 loss to Tulsa (Okla.) Union that ended the Atlanta area school's 28-game unbeaten streak.

The competition was even. St. Pius, the defending Georgia AAA champion, turned around and beat Evans (Ga.) Greenbrier, 2-0. Greenbrier defeated Auburn (Ala.), 4-1, and Auburn in turn downed Tulsa Union, 4-3.
