Messi an Ronaldo are both really great strikers, no doubt about it...but, in my taking a really close look at goals each scored. I really feel that with the greater number of field goals scored by Messi, he is the better field player as a striker. Many of Ronaldo's goals being pk's, seems to me, the easier way to score. I am not sure, but, think that the conversion rate on pk's taken per stats I have seen are that 90 percent are made, thus, whoever the designated pk taker is, has a definite advantage in total goals made. just mho....not taking anything away from Ronaldo, but, a comparison that I believe is worthy to look at.

Ronaldo is bar far the second best player in the world; however, Messi is not only a less selfish player but plays in a less selfish system. The ultimate way to play the game is the way both Barca and Messi play which is why Barca will win another Champions League title AND La Liga title this year.
