Bayern Munich holds a 2-1 lead over Real Madrid heading into the second leg of their Champions League semifinal Wednesday that Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge expects his team to be under extreme duress.

"We have great respect for Real, but no fear, even if we are expecting hell in the Bernabeu stadium," Rummenigge told SID. "The last-minute goal has given us a small chance, but it will be incredibly difficult.

Bayern holds a slender 2-1 lead from the first leg in Munich after Germany striker Mario Gomez scored a 90th-minute winner. Thanks to Real midfielder Mesut Ozil's equalizer the Spanish team holds the edge of an away goal, and Rummenigge does not believe Bayern can rely on a shutout that would assure advancement to the final to be played in its home stadium in Munich May 19.

"We have to try and put pinpricks in their defense to get a goal," he said. "Sitting back and defending won't achieve anything against such a strong attacking side."
