[INTERNATIONAL MARVELD TOURNAMENT] U.S. under-15 boys national team coach Tony Lepore brought 20 players to participate
at the International Marveld Tournament in Groenlo, Netherlands, at which youth teams from such clubs as Ajax, Manchester United and Real Madrid will compete.
The squad includes U-17
residents Mukwelle Akale, Cameron
Lindley and Tommy Redding and the highly regarded young Los Angeles Galaxy player Alejandro Vergara, who goes by the nickname.
The U-15s prepped for Friday's tournament opener against Real Madrid with wins over Feyenoord (5-0) and Vitesse (4-2).
