Jamaica kicks off two players for breaking curfew

[WORLD CUP 2014 QUALIFYING COUNTDOWN] Guatemala, hit by a match-fixing scandal, isn't the only U.S. opponent in World Cup 2014 qualifying with problems. On the eve of Jamaica's opener against Guatemala, the Reggae Boyz dropped two British-based players, Birmingham striker Marlon King and Motherwell winger Chris Humphrey, for breaking curfew.

King's departure means Coach Theodore Whitmore will likely have to rely on MLS players Ryan Johnson and Omar Cummings to lead the Reggae Boyz's attack.

"This decision is consistent with the head coach's zero-tolerance approach for acts of indiscipline and indiscretion," the Jamaica Football Federation said in a statement.
