[U.S. OPEN CUP] Sporting Kansas City will be hosting the 2012 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup final thanks to a 2-0 win over the the Philadelphia Union in Wednesday’ssemifinals. A goal by Jacob Peterson that sneaked inside the post past Union keeper Zac MacMath broke a scoreless drawin the second half at the Union’s PPL Park.
