Real Madrid opens up UCLA training camp to VIPs

It's no secret Jose Mourinho loves preseason training in the United States. And nothing is better than the facilities Real Madrid use on the campus of UCLA. The Merengues are guaranteed good weather and a peaceful atmosphere, away from their hordes of fans.

Real Madrid has decided to open things up a bit this summer, though. The Spanish daily Marca reports that the Spanish champs will hold an open training session on Aug. 4 in Westwood, but fans will be charged to $382 for a VIP pass that will allow them to watch training in a covered VIP section, meet the players after training for photographs and eat a continental breakfast.

Real Madrid will play four games on its 2012 U.S. tour: the Galaxy Aug. 2, Santos of Mexico Aug. 5 in Las Vegas (Herculez Gomez's homecoming game with the Mexican club), AC Milan Aug. 8 at New York's Yankee Stadium and Celtic Aug. 11 in Philadelphia.
