Wolfsburg coach Felix Magath blamed his Brazilian players for passing too much to each other after his team was routed, 4-0, at home by Hannover 96 in Week 2 of Bundesliga play.

“Our Brazilians prefer to pass to another Brazilian,” Magath said. “They certainly do not do it in bad faith and it’s understandable from a human aspect but we need to get out of the habit. It wasn’t so clear during the game but our video analysis showed that it is often the case.”

Wolfsburg started four Brazilians — Fagner, Naldo, Diego andJosue — in the loss on Sunday. Magath blamed Hannover’s second goal on Josue’s misplaced pass: “He wanted to pass to Diego although Marcel Schaefer was in a muchbetter position.”

Only two Bundesliga teams are perfect after two games: Bayern Munich, which thumped VfB Stuttgart, 6-1, last weekend and newly promoted Eintracht Frankfurt, which trouncedHoffenheim, 4-0.
