Canada eyes first Hexagonal berth in 16 years

[WORLD CUP 2014 QUALIFYING] Jamaica, Mexico and Canada can clinch berths in next year's Hexagonal on Tuesday.

-- Canada heads to Panama City to face Panama's Canaleros, whom it beat, 1-0, on Friday in Toronto. Another win would give Canada 10 points after four games, enough to clinch its first berth in the Hexagonal in 16 years if Honduras doesn't beat Cuba. A Canada loss would push Panama into first place and drop Dwayne De Rosario and Co., into a likely tie for second place with Honduras, which they will have to face on the road in their October finale.

-- Jamaica will clinch one of the two berths from Group A with a win over the USA on Tuesday and a Antigua & Barbuda-Guatemala tie.

-- Mexico's Tri is in the best position, going through with a win over or tie with Costa Rica at Azteca Stadium.
