Henry scores with a corner kick -- a "gol olimpico"
Marquez's long pass sets up Henry's first goal ...
Wondo got didn't get soccer scholarship offers out of high school -- they wanted him as a middle distance runner. Now the National team won't have him because he's too slow. 19 goals and 7 assists ain't too shabby. Surely given the USMNT pathetic goal scoring record, they could at least give a proven goal poacher a chance? Sure he doesn't look like a great forward, but he's smart, and works his tail off. And oh ya, he can run all day, so he actually comes back into the midfield, and on D, and works his tail off there also. How can Hercules Gomez be the flavor of the month when he was a bust in MLS? and Wondo not get a real chance?
