Billikens continue turnaround

[CREIGHTON-SAINT LOUIS] Raymond Lee, who has missed time this season due to injury, came off the bench and scored a pair of goals and fellow sophomore Robbie Kristo added an insurance goal to lead Saint Louis to a 3-1 win at No. 11 Creighton Saturday night before 3,638 fans.

Lee scored late in the first half off a corner kick from Alex Sweetin and buried a rebound off Kristo’s shot early in the second to give the Billikens a 2-0 advantage.

The Bluejays (5-2-1) got one back with a goal by Timo Pitter in the 62nd minute, but Kristo put the game out of reach with an insurance marker in the 83rd minute.

The win improved the Billikens' record to 5-2-0 in non-conference play, a big turnaround from last season when they went 2-5-1 in non-conference play and finished 6-10-1, only the second sub.-500 season in their 53 years.
