Bradley's return good news for Roma and USA

[AMERICANS ABROAD] Michael Bradley, sidelined since the first game of the Serie A season with a groin injury, is set to return to Roma's starting lineup for its game against Sampdoria on Wednesday.

Bradley sustained the injury in training days after making his debut with Roma in its 2-2 tie with Catania. The injury forced him to miss the two U.S. World Cup 2014 qualifiers in September.

Roma won its game at Cagliari on Sunday by forfeit, allowing veteran stars Francesco Totti and Daniele De Rossi and Bradley get extra training.

ENGLAND. Eric Lichaj was a late sub in Aston Villa's 4-2 win at Premier League champion Manchester City in their League Cup match.
