[DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY REWIND] The Chicago Fire, one of four U-17/18 Mid-America Division teams to sweep their games in the first two weeks of play in the 2012-13
Development Academy, got back-to-back hat tricks from Jeffrey Farina as it swept Internationals (7-0) and Crew Soccer Academy (4-0).
Farina is a
junior at New Trier High School. He had 11 goals for the Fire's U-15/16 team in 2011-12.
Other top performers in Week 2 included:

Umana scored four goals – including the first three in a span of 10 minutes – to lead the D.C. United’s U-15/16 team to a 5-0 victory against PA Classics.

Joseph Julius scored three goals for PA Classics' U-17/18s, who beat D.C. United, 4-2, and improved to 3-0-0.
-- Heikel Jarras notched a hat trick with three goals in the first 40 minutes for Development Academy newcomer Montreal Impact in its 6-0 victory against FC Westchester.
-- Jesse Garcia-Aguilar scored both goals to lead the first-year Portland Timbers to a 2-1 win over the Seattle Sounders in U-15/16 play. The Timbers (1-0-2)
have opened the season unbeaten in three road matches.
-- Kevin Delatorre and Brian Torres each had two
goals as Pateadores beat Nomads, 5-0, in a battle of the Southern California powerhouses.
