[AGS CUP] The U.S. under-17 men’s national team opened with a pair of wins at the 2012 AGS Cup in Spain before losing its third game to Azerbaijan, 1-0,on Tuesday. It had followed up on a 2-1 victory over Morocco with a 2-0 victory against the United Arab Emirates on Sunday. Games remain against Concacaf rivals Canada and Mexico this week.

Mukwelle Akale and Shaquell Moore converted second-half penalty kicks to give the USA the win over UAE.

Ahinga Selemani and Rubio Rubin scored as the USA rallied from 1-0 down after six minutes to beat Morocco.

Next up: Canada on Thursday and Mexico on Saturday.
