Rowdies down Carolina in first leg of semifinals

[NASL] The Tampa Bay Rowdies extended their unbeaten streak to seven games with a 2-1 win over the Carolina RailHawks in the first leg of the NASL semifinals on Saturday night at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C. Substitute forward Daniel Antoniuk scored the the game-winning goal in the 85th minute.

Forward Mike Ambersley put the Rowdies up 1-0 in the 63rd minute after a great feed from midfielder Shane Hill.
 
Brian Shriver’s equalizer for Carolina came in the 78th minute from the penalty spot.
