Following an enthralling “El Clasico” that ended 2-2 at the Camp Nou on Sunday, thanks to two goals each from Barcelona’s Lionel Messi and Real Madrid’s CristianoRonaldo, Real coach Jose Mourinho said that comparisons between the two megastars should stop because “those two are from another planet.”

“Saying which one’s the best should be banned,” Mourinho exclaimed, adding: “I would like my player to win the Ballon d’Or because he has been a champion in the toughestleague in the world but they’re both fantastic”.

However, for Barca coach Tito Vilanova, the decision is clear: “We’ll never see a player of the likes of Messi again. He’s the best in the world by far.”

Meanwhile, the draw seemed to satisfy both coaches. “It’s the perfect result for the game,” Mourinho said. “It was very good and thewhole world was able to watch and enjoy it. … I’m very pleased with my team and the world is happy.” Vilanova pointed out that the result leaves his team with a hefty lead overMourinho’s men. “If they’d told us at the start of the season that we’d have an eight point lead at this point, we’d have signed up for that,” he said.
