Jose Mourinho's 'Wall of Errors'

Marca’s Hugo Cerezo offers a glimpse into the Real Madrid locker room, saying that Real manager Jose Mourinho repeats the same pattern the day after any game: as players enter the locker room they are greeted with his “wall of errors,” printed images detailing errors in judgment or technique that led to goals being conceded, loss of possession or anything else which might displease the manager.

Mourinho also lays out a series of TV freeze frames that illustrate in sequence what went wrong with a particular passage of play. The idea is that the guilty party understands what he did wrong and never does it again. Counterattacks and defending corners are particularly regular topics on the so-called “wall of errors” this year, Cerezo says, and answering back is rarely permitted.
