Juve-Napoli Talk Annoys Prandelli

Italy coach Cesare Prandelli reacted angrily to questions from the Italian press about the upcoming clash this weekend between Juventus and Napoli, Serie A’s first and second place clubs, respectively. Prandelli snapped at journalists who wanted to discuss that match rather than focus on Italy’s World Cup qualifier against Denmark at the San Siro in Milan later tonight.

"Juve-Napoli? We do not care about that. It's a game that concerns fans and journalists only," Prandelli said. "All that we're worried about is the three points and I hope that everyone is concentrating on this game. The last time we talked about a club game, we lost to the USA [1-0] in Genoa so I will not say any more about things that do not concern the national team.”

Juvenus and Napoli are joint top of the Serie A with 19 points from seven games, although Juve’s goal differential is two better than the Naples club.
