Is AC Milan's best player 14 years old?

[VIDEO PICK] AC Milan paid 500,000 Euros for Hachim Mastour, and his dazzling debut for its U-15 team last weekend seemed to justify the investment made over the summer.

Milan cleaned house during the offseason. Currently 11th in Serie A, 19-year-old leading scorer Stephan El Shaarawy, an Italian international with an Egyptian father, has been one of the lone bright spots. But the player creating the most buzz right now is five years his junior. Born in Italy, like El Shaarawy, but Mastour is of Morrocan descent.

This video of his U-15 debut was posted to YouTube on Monday. It went over 1 million views by Tuesday night. From a, 7-0, win over Albinoleffe, I think it’s fair to say Mr. Mastour is officially on the radar.

Wearing No. 7, one of the bigger players, his control is incredible. Nice skills, but notice the speed at which he performs them. A sideline turn Andres Iniesta would be proud of, some flashier moves Iniesta probably wouldn’t, but Cristiano Ronaldo certainly would. And after both his goals, the second of which far outshines a clever first, the youngster seems thoroughly unimpressed.

Well, count us impressed. Young Mastour comes with his own soundtrack, enjoy…
