After watching Manchester United fall behind for the eighth time in 12 total games this season, manager Alex Ferguson has admitted he does not have the answers to fix histeam’s defensive frailties.

“I can’t get to the bottom of it I am afraid,” Ferguson said following United’s come-from-behind 3-2 win at home to Braga in the UEFA ChampionsLeague on Tuesday. “If you analyze the goals we are losing, they have come from throw-ins, crosses, cut-backs, all sorts, and they are finding players free in the box. It is difficult to put yourfinger on it, and it is a concern because it is making it difficult for us.”

United fell behind 2-0 after 20 minutes, but Javier Hernandez brought the Red Devils back intothe match five minutes later. Jonny Evans then leveled for the home team after 62 minutes, before Hernandez scored the winning goal 15 minutes from time.

Ferguson opted torest Rio Ferdinand, bringing in Michael Carrick as a makeshift replacement in the center of defense. The England international ended up being caught out several timesthroughout the game.
