Over 100 Arrests Made Ahead of PSG - Zagreb Clash

Paris St. Germain and Dinamo Zagreb supporters were arrested ahead of tonight’s UEFA Champions League game in Paris. According to ESPN, 24 people were arrested late Monday night due to a clash between the sets of supporters in the Place de la Bastille. French police said one Dinamo supporter was badly injured.

On Tuesday, 80 Zagreb supporters were arrested at a hotel in the city in an attempt to avert the threat of further violence at the Parc des Princes tonight. These arrests were linked to the issue of a travel ban on Zagreb fans by the French interior minster, who said he wanted to "avoid serious security risks to people and property." Croatian police had informed their French counterparts that around 200 potentially violent members of the so-called Blue Bad Boys gang would be traveling to Paris without tickets for the match.

PSG beat Dinamo Zagreb 2-0 in Croatia two weeks ago and will be looking to repeat the result tonight to keep pace with the Group A leader FC Porto.
