[NJCAA DIVISION III] Herkimer County Community College defeated Montgomery College, 1-0, on Craig McCabe’s overtime goalto successfully defend its NJCAA Division III men’s national championship. The title was the Generals’ ninth since the creation of Division III in 1994.
McCabe scored on a rebound off ashot by Michael Pope to claim the title for the Generals, who did not allow a goal at the national tournament.
The Generals (20-2-0) beat BrookdaleCC, 1-0, and Bunker Hill, 3-0, to advance to the final.
