Solo's fiance arrested for domestic assault

[JURISPRUDENCE] On the eve of her marriage to Jerramy Stevens, U.S. women's star Hope Solo was involved in an incident with the former NFL tight end that resulted in his arrest on suspicion of fourth-degree domestic violence assault. Stevens was released without being charged, and there was no word whether Tuesday's marriage went forward.

The Seattle Post-Intelligencer reported that police were called Monday morning to a residence in Kirkland, Wash., at which Solo's brother, Marcus, was present.

According to police, Marcus Solo, who placed the call, had blood on his forehead and knees and a freshly bruised eye after an incident he claimed involved "uninvited guests" at a party. Police didn't find any unwanted guests but did find another, unidentified woman lying on the kitchen floor with a hip injury.

Hope Solo, who was reported to be intoxicated, had blood and a fresh laceration on her elbow.

Stevens, who has an extensive arrest record, was found in his bedroom on the floor behind the bed, where he said he was sleeping. He admitted to arguing with Solo about where they should live but claimed he was sleeping when the supposed altercation took place.

Hope Solo refused to give a written statement. Her unwillingness to cooperate was given as one reason why charges may not be filed.

More drama from the Drama Queen. She been involved with the dude for two months and is getting married. Does she think that she is one of the Kardashians?

think these two competitors should take a long look at a legal bond for a long time....when people this competitive are in a relationship...neither will want to lose..it is their nature to win...not a good match...a good idea of Hope to NOT give any statements, in light of her condition...allegedally....mho

Solo is an excellent goalkeeper, but she should shape up or be dropped from the team.

The USA Womens' Team does not need drunks and crazies.

I see a future reality show here. Title something like, "I'm Not Solo Anymore".

Uh, what? Is it now a crime to be drinking and get assaulted by your worthless fiancee who previously drunkely drove a car into a nursing home? Poor choice of friends, likely, but let him who's never made such a poor choice cast the first insulting post.

Sounds like a real mess. If this is any indication of how their relationship is, than they should not get married. They both sound unstable.
