Golazo from Guadalajara in 11 seconds

[VIDEO PICK: Golazo] Alfredo Moreno chips the keeper from outside the area just moments after the opening kickoff for Tijuana, providing an early winner in a huge game at Chivas last weekend.

If you were three minutes late to the game in Guadalajara on Sunday, you missed all of the scoring. Moreno added a quick assist to his rapido golazo, and Tijuana won 2-0 at Chivas. It was the final round of the Apertura in Liga MX, or first half of the season, securing second place for Tijuana, and a spot in next season’s Copa Libertadores.

Handshakes and photos take longer than it will for the opening kickoff to be passed back, twice, to Tijuana’s defense, which clears it upfield, where the header by a Chivas defender deflects off Moreno right into his path, so the 32-year-old forward decides to casually chip the goalkeeper from outside the box, all before the play-by-play man can introduce himself.

Although Moreno seems a lot less excited about his fantastic chip than Duvier Riascos does about his thoroughly ordinary goal just two minutes later, making it 2-0, which Moreno, and the Chivas keeper, both assist on. Atencion ...
