Lindsey Wilson rallies to win third championship

[NAIA TOURNAMENT] No. 2 seed Lindsey Wilson twice came from behind before claiming its third NAIA women's crown with a 3-2 victory over No. 12 Olivet Nazarene in Orange Beach, Fla.

Olivet Nazarene went ahead twice on goals by Devin Johnston and Jessica Higer, but the Blue Raiders rallied on goals by Emilia Jonsson and Elisha Fry to take a 2-2 tie into halftime.

Elizabet Madjarac, who received Championship Outstanding Offensive Player honors, scored the game-winner in the 60th minute.

"I was just hoping we'd get to halftime 2-2," said Lindsey Wilson coach Drew Burwash. "We battled in the second half. I don't know what it was statistically, but we turned it on and fortunately we got a goal that put us over the top."
