[MEN’S COLLEGE CUP: Indiana] Todd Yeagley, who played for Indiana in the NCAA Division I final four in all four years asa player under his father, Jerry Yeagley, has gotten the Hoosiers back to the College Cup for the first time since 2004 when they won their fourth nationaltitle. The Hoosiers, winners at No. 1 seed Notre Dame and defending champion North Carolina in the last two rounds, take on Creighton in Friday’s semifinals (TV: ESPNU, 7:30 pm ET).
Eriq Zavaleta, a unanimous pick as Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year, scored the game-winning goal in thewins over Notre Dame and North Carolina to give him 18 goals and seven game-winning goals.
Junior A.J. Corrado‘s 12 assists are the most by anIndiana player since Lee Nguyen recorded 12 in 2005. Corrado was the only other Hoosier to join Zavaleta on the All-Big Ten first team.
JuniorNikita Kotlov‘s seven career NCAA Tournament goals are tied for second most by a Hoosier, tied with Pat Noonan (1999-02). He scored three goals against Xavierin the second round.
