INDOOR: Jamar Beasley leads MISL All-Rookie team

Kansas City Comets forward Jamar Beasley, who spent four seasons in Major League Soccer and played last year in the A-League, leads the Major Indoor Soccer League's 2003-04 All-Rookie team.

Beasley, who scored seven goals with eight assists in four seasons MLS seasons with New England and Chicago, was mentioned on 36 of 40 ballots after scoring 31 goals for the Comets. Kansas City's Brazilian goalkeeper Sanaldo also was honored.

Former Miami Fusion defender Jeremy Aldrich, who plays for the Philadelphia Kixx, Cleveland defender Adam Guren and forward Adauto Neto, and Dallas forward Shaun David complete the team.

Beasley, the elder brother of U.S. national team star DaMarcus Beasley, played last summer with the A-League's Charleston Battery and Indiana Blast. He has not signed with an A-League club this season.
