[CONTROVERSY] A coach was ejected for giving instructions in Spanish to some of his players in a Florida youth league run by the Optimist Club of Cooper City.
In the game between teams named after MLS clubs FC Dallas and the San Jose Earthquakes, FC Dallas coach Ruben Albarracin was sent off because the referee cited a league rule
prohibiting speaking in Spanish, Albarracin told the Sun Sentinel.
The Sun Sentinel was unable to get an explanation from the referee, but it did reach Optimist Club board member Geri Kelly, who denied there being an English-only rule.
"During a meeting, we asked coaches to be careful and, for the benefit of the majority, speak in a language that everyone understands," Kelly said. "We have no rule [against speaking Spanish]. How could this be a rule?
"This is a youth recreational program, with players of different races and nationalities, and we want all the players to enjoy the benefit of the instructions offered by their coaches. We want everybody to understand."
Albarracin's players range from 14 to 18, and are mostly immigrants or the children of immigrants from Latin America.
Albarracin's assistant coach Carlos Perez said, "We were told there was a new rule that we could not speak Spanish. We told the referees that we wanted to see that rule in writing and that's when things got ugly."
A claim by Albarracin and Perez that referees have also tried to discourage players from speaking among themselves in Spanish was denied by Optimist Club leaders. They told Sun Sentinel reporter Aurelio Moreno that they have told coaches to be careful because last year a coach speaking in Hebrew told some of his players to break the legs of a rival team during a game.
The name of the state is in Spanish!!! Are you kidding me?? I can't believe some people.
Spanish is a better language anyway. These idiotic rednecks have to go.
What idiots. Cowardly idiots. Can't even own up to an obvious encouragement of this ref s stupid behavior. I have heard plenty of threats, instructions of violent behavior to players, racial slurs in English and many times Hispanic parents don't understand but quickly understand a hostile situation but Refs most of the time turn a def ear. Racism is very alive in USA. Was this article even posted on Dec. 21? I don't remember getting this one in my emails.
I hope these people get sued and don't ever run a league again along with the ref.
There is too much racism here. People here were speaking Spanish FIRST.
I'm sick of the racism, that's why I'm a Colombia fan now. Screw "usa". I support all people who root for their heritage over something that is here only because they disgracefully stole this land from the Indians.
And now they kill innocent kids thru drone strikes.
Kevin, I agree 100% with you. Everyday we see something about the Holocaust on TV but nothing on the genecide committee against the Indian. Nothing on the fact that they live in the worst conditions of poverty of any other race in USA. Racism in leagues is a common theme but nothing or very little is being done to fix it. Then we wonder why we can't find better talent for our National teams. They don't see that all they are doing is making Hispanic leagues better and stronger because they don't want to deal with it. We look to European coaching when we have great Mexican Coaches just next door or Brazilian, Argentinian in the same Co tinent.
Kevin - please don't be influenced by Luis - he is a liar and a race-baiter and please don't be influenced by a few idiots in Florida to 'screw the USA' - that is the attitude of Luis - he is in heaven when things like this get reported - he loves it because he is so filled with hatred of the white man - it gives him fuel for his victimhood - he too thinks it is 'funny' when the US loses - it is just an attitude that is counterproductive for all of us in the soccer culture. Luis only will be happy when the USMNT is 100% Mexican-Americans - he wants no white people in the coaching ranks or on the field and no black people either - PLEASE DONT FALL INTO THAT NEGATIVE RACIAL DIVISIVENESS. Most large cultures have some terrible crimes in their past - Mexico committed genocide as well, Columbia, a relatively new republic had La Violencia and its drug cartel issues - that does not compare US's past or condone it at all - there are millions of people in this country who are embarrassed and ashamed of the treatment of the Native Americans and that are opposed to drone strikes BUT LEAVE THIS OUT OF SOCCER..............Fight racism where you see it and focus on the positives - half of our US National Staff are hispanic-americans, many of our national players are hispanic AND DONT SLIP DOWN THE NEGATIVE SLOPE OF HATRED LUIS PREACHES AND INSTILLS IN HIS KIDS.
Gordon, do you honestly think Kevin is basing his general opinion on my posts or one news column? Are you really that naive? Isn't it obvious he has seen a pattern of events that have produced his sentiments that he now posts? Gordon, why don't you factually state what I have said that translates into me hating white and black people? Is Kevin racist? Is he a victim? Why not? Because he has a white name? Because it sounds like he thinks just like me. Or very close. Fight racism where you see it? That's exactly what he is doing stupid. He sees it in soccer and so he is posting it on a soccer column, you idiot. You want to compare Mexico's or Columbia's in-house problems with USA s genecoide and racism crimes?? That itself is offensive and unacceptable. Plenty of people are ashamed ? Really? Why don't we hear about the crimes committed agaisnt the Native Indians as much as we do about the Holocaust? Why is the Civil War reenacted so much in the south if we are so ashamed as a nation of what the south defended? You are full of shit Gordon just like so many people in USA still are. Good for you Kevin. Its good that you can see through the bullshit of people like Gordon.
Gordon doesn't understand the difference between a country's disagreements amongst the same race and total racism of one race towards another. He thinks they are comparable. He was offended of me stating that Hispanics "in general" seem to have the same distinguishable passion for soccer as black Americans do for basketball in USA but has not translated in the same distinguishable numbers on the national teams. This apparently, according to Gordon, means I hate black people. What do you this.k Kevin?
Kevin, I forgot to mention Luis is a proven pathological liar so when he says I am comparing the US atrocities against Native Americans to other country's histories he conveniently ignores that I wrote "that does not compare US's past..."................Luis thinks taking a small percentage of people who do re-enactments and, first, pretends to know what is in their hearts and minds and, second, uses that to portray "so many people in the USA." It would be like saying most Mexicans are drug-involved criminals because of the drug violence that we hear so much about - yes, Kevin, he is that stupid and that filled with hatred............You can see how bitter he is against the white people when he cries victim even in these posts when I don't attack you like i attack him - his very first thought is your name is "A WHITE NAME." It is all about race with him and racism - it can't be something as simple as the fact that I have been reading his posts for many months and this is the first post of yours I remember seeing - yes, he is so bitter that he even despises and is jealous of someone who "has a white name."................And, of course, any time he tries to summarize my thoughts, he is a blatant liar like when he writes that I was offended by his comments about the passion hispanics have for soccer, etc. - HE IS A PROVEN PATHOLOGICAL LIAR bent on only one thing - a USMNT of 100% Mexican-Americans - he does not want white people or black people on the team - factually, I pointed out how the most recent U17's had 5-6 hispanics amongst their starters (the rest being white or black) and they still got destroyed and his response was "the U17 would had played much better if it had more 9 Hispanics as starters at the least."
And Kevin - it is not as much about that racism exists but how one handles it or deals with adversity - Luis has decided to use hatred and victimhood - he teaches his young players to 'use the system', he wants the US MNT to lose, ANYTIME anyone criticizes a hispanic or rates a hispanic as having a poor game, or does not pick a hispanic for a team poor Luis cries racism - he is as good for hispanics as Al Sharpton is for blacks. He fails to accept responsibility and accountability for anything - he takes the easy way out and cries racism - a SA writer gives a hispanic player a low rating it cannot be because that player had a bad game it is because the SA writer is racist, someone criticizes Rafa Marquez for poor sportsmanship it cant be because Marquez has in fact demonstrated very poor sportsmanship it is because the people making the criticisms are racist against hispanics - see the pattern? Luis is so blinded by his racism and twisted in his hatred he cannot see anything rationally. Dont condemn an entire country because of the actions of a few like Luis has.
Blah blah blah. Boring. You said "plenty of people are ashamed". What is plenty to you Gordon? Because maybe its not enough for me or Kevin. Can you accept that? I never called any of these writers a racist. That's just how you wangmt to portray me. I just don't agree with heir opinions all the time when it comes to Hispanics but you want to crucify me. You did not agree with my statement that Hispanics in USA are the more passionate race and compared then to black people and their love for basketball. That is all I said of. Lack people. You distress, stupidly pointing out that Hispanics "in general" had " bad sporting behavior" and pointed RAFA Marquez as an example. I told you that Charles Barkley has not been the greatest example of good sportsmanship along with ma.y other nonHispa ice players I. AMERICAN sports and you have been crying like a bitch ever since. So tif the atrocities committed here are not comparable to Mexico then why bring it up? Kevin makes some excellent points that you want to drown out with your meaningless nonsense. Nobody really even acknowledges your posts whatsoever because they know you are only here to hate on me and have nothing unique to say. You are the worst kind of racist. The one that wants to act like you like everyone but won't tolerate an opinion from someone with my last name even though it is the same thing that my friend Kevin is stating. Your tone is much different with him. I wonder why? Here, lets give it a try. Don't these idiots in Florida realize that Hispanics were there first and that the name of the state is actually in Spanish? What's next? Will they tell Native Americans to not speak their native tongue or follow their customs? People like those league office ual idiots, no matter how few are way too many in my book.
Kevin - it figures someone like Luis would think a post about dealing with racism in a rational manner would see that as boring. When someone can find positive solutions it ruins Luis' twisted negative reason for living.................If Luis disagreed with the SA writers when they rated whites and blacks inappropriately (in his own uninformed opinion i.e. Daddy coach that never played the game) then he would not be a racist and if he agreed with the SA writers when they criticized Marquez instead of whining about Marquez and Beckham like a little baby then he would not be a racist. If he would have just congratulated the US on their win over Mexico at Azteca instead of whining and lying about shots and regulars then he would not be a racist. If he had some white people or black people in his racially-segregated club then he would not be a racist. BUT, unfortunately, none of that happened and it confirms Luis as blinded by his own racial hatred and now he is just too afraid to admit to it. Too afraid to play 'F1' basketball, too afraid to take a high level USSF coaching course and admit the US staff knows more about the game then Daddy coach Luis ever will. A liar, a race-baiter, and a coward that wont even admit what he means - the worst kind of person.
And Kevin - when Luis says I never agreed that hispanics are passionate about soccer he is once again lying. Please remember Luis is a pathological liar. When he says "Nobody really even acknowledges your posts whatsoever" he is again lying - I honestly dont know how he lives with himself - there have been many, many people that have posted in agreement with me including many hispanics that are sick of other hispanics like Luis that race-bait and play the victim - hell, one young fellow hispanic even told Luis not to play the victim when poor Luis complained about his son not making a particular team and told him hard work was the solution.........And I dont need to explain again why I can reason with you Kevin compared to a lying sack of victimhood like Luis but you see how he even tries to play the race card on that - pathetic - no wonder even his own race (except victims like himself) hates him.
Kevin, and of course Colombia is a lovely country with no racism...http://colombiareports.com/colombia-news/news/15487-racism-rife-in-bogota.html
Gordon and Luis, can you please take this pissing contest outside? You're consuming space that could be better filled with actual discussions about soccer.
Re: spanish on the pitch. I don't care about what language you're speaking on the pitch, any more than I care about Intent. I WOULD like to see a dispassionate discussion about a variety of hispanic topics that impact the game (since half the competitive players/teams/coaches I see involve hispanics):
1) refereeing in spanish vs english--should the spanish speaking referee avoid spanish so as not to get dragged into tangential assumptions based on the flavor of spanish s/he is speaking?
2) developing players--are hispanic coaches advocating possession and the development of players capable of playing a 4-3-3 and are thus a better option vs standard kick-and-run coaches? Or is this all stereotyping?
3) are hispanic teams doing their players a disservice by staying primarily hispanic? or should they become more of a melting pot?
Hispanic teams/coaches/players are becoming more prominent here in california, but to outside non-hispanics it looks like a closed community. Is that the case? What are the benefits and drawbacks to having your non-hispanic kid playing on a hispanic team?
So right R2. Gordon and Luis , both of you are acting disgraceful. As far as the coach getting ejected , thats horrible he was ejected. First, no one should be required to speak a particular language. Seems like there may be more to the story though. As a coach , I have used spanish to instruct my spanish speaking players and encourage them to use whatever form of communication they feel comfortable with on the pitch. As long as they are being respectful. I have in the past learned polish words to instruct a player in the past. Its always about the kids and what make them feel comfortable.
On a another subject, I totally have a problem with Kevin's comments about the U.S.A. If someone hates this country so much , please leave. So before you call me any names, I have Native American ancestry and my chidren have half hispanic ancestry. These forum shouldn't be for showing what ignorance you have but for talking about soccer and how we can further this great game in this great country.
Gordon, can you please prove of me being a victim by directing Kevin or anyone else to my psots so they can verify for themselves who the real twisted racist is here? My son didn't make what team excatly, so I know? You are truly stupid and only rant. You have nothing to contribution Ute to antmy of these articles. If any of these people follow these artcules regularly they would see that you only waif for me to post something first for you to post your idiotic racial stupidity. This is a column that has to do with racism in USA.
Steve, what else do you believe was untold in this story? What would justify establishing a rule of not speaking Spanish during a game? So you think there was a reason for establishing this rule on behalf of the league officials? Do you believe the ref acted on his own and misrepresented the league? If so, don't you think the league would have covered it's own back and just blamed the ref? As long as they are being respectful? What should that have anything to do with the language you speak? Rexpect is universal. Why not show respect for everyone no matter what lafnguage they speak as the first step? I don't think Kevin said he hated the USA. What he said was he was sick of the racism. Those are very different from each other. Actually to me that states he loves USA so much he would like to see racism completely eliminated. So if you don't understand that maybe you should leave Steve.
Steve - in my opinion it would be disgraceful to not defend our soccer culture against people such as Kevin and Luis as I believe the ethnic and racial divide they create is a large problem in our soccer environment. Interesting that you seem to think the same thing as you go on to criticize Kevin and his comments.
Luis the race-baiter and pathological liar wrote....."Odp's talent level has no comparison with other 2 and is the only one to cost something. I take him there to not leave any stone unturned. Id2 put him on top list in Illinois but did not invite him to Camps in N.C. or California. Not sure why especially after looking at the list that were invited. He scored the most goals at the one day Id2 Illinois tryout. In all 4 U.S.S.F sessions he has trained and competed against 98's and 97's and never against his actual age with 99's"................................And the response from a fellow hispanic, "I am a Mexican-American, and I can name many examples of players that were "easily discouraged" and succeeded. Do not give yourself or your son the excuse that because he didn't make it or other sdidn't was due to race."
So Luis, you just like to attack people.
You sure like to read into things that are not there. My comment was more that i wasnt there, therefore I don't have the whole story. First, the league was totally wrong about establishing the rule for coaches to use spanish. How the ref and the coaches handled it , I would like to know more. Respectful, in my instance was reguarding a situation i came across years ago when a team with players on one team speaking a different language(not spanish) was making derogatory comments about opponents on the field just because they thought they wouldn't be understood. Little did they know , someone from the opposing teams parent spoke the language. So no matter what language is spoken and who does or doesn't understand , respect should always be the way to go. As far as Kevin goes, when someone says "screw the USA", I take great offense to that.
Luis. Please lighten up . Being so angry isn't good for you especially if you are going to be around childern.
correction^^^ *not use spanish*
And finally Steve maybe you can see why I don't let the victim and pathological liar Luis get away with anything - your comments, except for the 'disgraceful' part, seemed appropriate but Luis has to jump in and defend Kevin and try and twist things around like saying Kevin does not hate the US and believe me the only reason Luis is defending him is because he is likely hispanic or at the very least a hispanic fan of Colombia - for Luis it is not about right and wrong it is about race and ethnicity. I can only hope you will now see the damage such a deranged, immoral person can do especially being a coach of our young soccer players. I dont want to see more victims growing up hating the USA like Luis instills in his racially-segregated club players. And make no mistake, NOBODY hates the US more than Luis - he thinks it is "funny" when they lose.
Gordon, my son is actually recognized as a top Regional player of interest in Region 2 by the USSF. He was also invited to an Id2 camp this month in Arizona and scored one goal and assisted on 5 more out of a total of 7 for his 3 teams, so I don't know what exactly you are talking about. I never said he wasn't picked for anything because of race but you just want to pin everything I question on race. It sounds like you are the VI Tim and you seem to be scared of something. What my son is doing is just the beginning since he is getting invites from everywhere. I think I told you you would hear about it soon. I must be doing something right and that's what enrages you. May the Spirit of Rafa Marquez be with you brother.
So now its me and Kevin that are creating a racial divide in USA. Its not what people like these idiots in Florida did in a rec league? We are demonized for reacting to this ignorant behavior and pointing out we have seen this happen one too many times? Both of you are hipocrits as you are quick to critisuze our reaction but have not once condemned this ignorant behavior in any of your posts.
I understand you weren't there Steve but it is clear you will not condemn those actions because you believe there could be another side to that story that would justify those actions. In my opinion there is absolutely nothing that could justify this ignorance. The leagues reaction to what this idiotic ref did is a more than clear sign that they are in on it. You are quick to tell someone to leave USA though without completely knowing the full story on his behalf and why he is reacting that way. Is that not an unjustifiable attack? It seems you pick and choose what deserves a "2nd side of the story".
Steve, why are you so quick to determine that Kevin hates the USA without knowing his full story? I did not get that notion at all. It seems that his tolerance for this stupid behavior has reached a limit due to what I suspect have been several issues he has encountered of this same nature. I completely understand him and it is a little alarming that even in the 20th century a white man is stating how sick he is of this racism we still live in USA. Don't you?
Steve, no matter what was said during the game it still gives the ref no right to enforce such a stupid rule. Nor does the league have no right of establishing such rule. Therefore, the 2nd side of the story has no influence on the initial ignorance displayed by these idiots. Saying obscenities to other teams is a completely different issue np matter the language. They could have established a rule of zero tolerance for saying anything derragatorry in any language. So you asking about the full story gives the wrong impression of there maybe being a justifyiable reason for these actions when in fact those are 2 sepetate issues. I have heard my players being called Beanstalk and Spics right in front of the referee in plain English with them usually just ignoring it. Would it be any better in Spanish or Polish? And don't worry about me brother. I am not mad. I think this is good that we can share our opinions and that people can read and help form their opinions to better their decision making. Maybe they don't defend their thoughts because they think they are few. Now that they see more and more people will speak out they can demand more from their league or state or even their USSF. Those are all good things. I keep these issues away from my kids but do teach them to deal with these kind of idiots with class even though so.betimes it gets extremely hard. But we will prevail and it is showing with players like my son.
Gordon, so my club is racially segregated now? Haha! ! I actually have quite a few German, Bosnian, Italians, Jewish, Bulgarian, etc. In the club. But they all play a Hispanic style of play that is always creative, free flowing and attacking soccer. So what the hell are you talking about? I hope everyone can see his hateful a person you attacking my club and players/kids without knowing anything about them. Kind of like those Florida league official idiots.
R2, don't you notice that Gordon only makes a post immediately after mine and never before which means that his only interest is to demonize me? My initial posts have nothing to do with him whatsoever. Now, let me answer your questions. Given the amount of Hispanic teams and players in every league, should the white ref refrain from using English for same reasons? There are plenty of bilingual refs which would be the best solution to accommodate both paying customers and give them the best customer service. However, in my opinion, I think everyone would just prefer a. Ref that knows what he is doing no matter the language. From my experience, the best refs have been either Hispanic or European. When developing players, it should always be about skill and what style will best enhance this learning. How can anyone label an 8-13 year old as a skilled or unskilled player without first trying to teach them the skills without worrying about results in the win column. The only reason why that's ever a question is because as a society we are worried about winning first, development second. If we develop only we "never" kick and run or boot the ball up the field, we pick skilled or techniques over speed and strength at a young age en kuraging everyone to work on their skill first. In basketball, for example, its amazing that kids at 12-14 years old are labeled as a Center or Power Forward just because they are the tallest ones on that team and only taught post moves and play close to the basketball when in fact these players will have the height of a Shooting Gaurd or point gaurd in many cases. Thus happens in the best basketball clubs in the country but the best players continue to come from the hood who happen to be the most creative players that most fans pay to see.&
All basketball loving players should be taught to play as point gaurds at the youngest ages. All young soccer players should be taught to play as mids forwards to enhance their skill. In Illinois I have never seen a Hispanic team not open up to white players. I have seen the opposite. Most teams want the best players and the white players that love to play are usually good players that you will always see on Hispanic teams in Hispanic leagues during the summer when their clubs are on vacation. Same in the winter. These kids love the style of play and always acknowledge their improvement is due to these experiences. I can't see why its any different in California.
Poor, poor unhumble Luis - someone please tell him that we all know how great his son is because he posts about him all the time and maybe 1/2 of his racially-segregated club website is devoted to his son.........Also, please tell him those were exact quotes above (he does not know what quotations mean) and it is not surprising that when his son was not invited to some camps he cries about it but even less surprising is he has now become a coward by not owning up to the fact he is claiming racism - even his fellow hispanic called him out on it...........Poor, poor Luis - criticized by his own ethnic group.........poor, poor victim.
Someone please tell poor Luis how to read and comprehend things - he apparently read my posts and Steve's and fails to understand that we both agreed racism still exists and that the league in Florida is at fault.......Please explain to him that our posts were more about how to deal with it - divisively and negatively and with hatred to everyone else in the USA like Luis or in a better manner. NEVER FORGET LUIS IS A PATHOLOGICAL LIAR and this is a fine example of him twisting mine and Steve's posts around for his own race-baiting agenda.
Luis has lied about everything from the US win at Azteca to the number of hispanics on teams for the Chicago Magic and he has never admitted it - not once.......to help all posters please see YET ANOTHER LUIS LIE...........Luis wrote "Both of you are hipocrits as you are quick to critisuze our reaction but have not once condemned this ignorant behavior in any of your posts."................BUT THE TRUTH IS, I wrote in my first post "please don't be influenced by a few idiots in Florida" and Steve later wrote "First, the league was totally wrong about establishing the rule for coaches to use spanish."....................SO PLEASE EVERYONE TAKE NOTE THAT LUIS IS A BLATANT LIAR AND A DISSERVICE TO HIS RACE AND TO THE SPORT OF SOCCER TO HIS SON AND TO ANY YOUNG PERSON HE INFLUENCES...............Maybe Luis will admit he lied here, just maybe????? It is very obvious that he did - will he admit it???? NO. I gave Luis a chance to be a man and he failed at it.
Stop hating on me brother. Now you want hate on my son and club? Yea your a righteous person. Tell you what. Lets meet up somewhere so I can kick your ass. I llego let you get a few huts in so you can relieve all that stress and you can focus on other things and post your own thoughts on these columns ineradicable of entirely focusing on me like an obsessed bitch. What do you say?
Luis' racially-segregated club is majority hispanic - please ignore his efforts to twist that any other way and here is the main problem with people like Luis - they believe they are superior to everyone only by virtue of their ethnicity. A comment like "But they all play a Hispanic style of play that is always creative, free flowing and attacking soccer." could be a constructive race-free comment but when it comes from the mouth of a race-baiting fool filled with hatred the implication is only hispanics can play that style. How many times has poor Luis come on here and criticized the Europeans - the British, the Germans, etc. Talk about racist???!!! Maybe he never saw Swansea play last season - maybe he does not know Barcelona's style was implemented from Rinus Michels and Johann Cruyff and Ajax. Racial divide. Steve and R2 Dad - surely you must see this as relevant.
And R2Dad, please ignore any input Luis has - he never played the game, he was a basketball player, and he is just a Daddy coach, he has a 'D' license which means he knows nothing about the game except what some US Soccer guys taught him over two weekends - he is clueless and, again, a born liar. When he says his club is about development but his club website has about 1/3rd of it's 'About' page devoted to its 'accomplishments' - check it out at http://www.futbolclubathletico.com/aboutusphilosophy.htm and be sure and note how he criticizes all the other clubs - it is pathetic, immoral, disrespectful and spoken out of ignorance.......but, of course, that sums up Luis.
So poor Luis gets caught in a blatant lie and only can write he wants to kick my ass - classic. Come on, someone else please encourage Luis to admit he lied - I just want to hear it once. But sadly, I gave up on poor Luis a long time ago I don't address fools with no morals and no honor.
Come on, someone help the victim - Steve and myself DID criticize the FL league......someone get him to admit he lied........come on.
Crack is whack!!
You say you won't address me but your only posts are about me. Nothing or about nobody else. It seems my words hit a really sensitive nerve with you and you are now obsessed with me. If I am so beneath you then just ignore my posts and move on you crazy bitch.
Anyone? Can Luis admit the truth for once in his life? Did Steve and I criticize the people in Florida? Come on, someone else encourage him for once in his life to have some courage..................poor, poor lying sack of crap.................Someone can tell Luis if he wants me to stop then he only need to apologize to everyone on these posts, admit he is a lying piece of garbage, admit he is a race-baiter and a victim, never post anything about race or ethnicity again, and promise never to coach another young person as long as he lives.
Everyone I am sorry hat people like Gordon exist. OK.
I guess the answer is, no, Luis cannot tell the truth....pity but not surprising.
Still no honor - never had it, never will.
Serial Killer Sychoooo
Gordon, are you a Teabagger? I know you say you don't look at skin color but how many minorities are on the teams you coach? What style of play do you coach? Are you defensive kick and run? You have said that Hispanics "in general" have a low work ethic and bad sporting behavior in your experience as a coach, so in "in general" who are your harder workers and better sporting behavior players? Come on Gordon, don't be scared to answer these. Show us how mi h honor you have and how brave you truly are in answering these with honesty. Let me guess. This will be your answer. "Now Luis wants to twist thus because he is a coward, blah blah blah and I don't see race and my comment was solely based on blah blah blah". If you had no problem making your comments about Hispanics then you should have no problem answering these questions above, correct? Lol.
Once a lying sack of crap, always a lying sack of crap - myself and Luis tried to have a decent conversation but I do not associate with proven race-baiting liars - he lies about everything, he lies about me saying hispanics had low work ethic and he lied about me and Steve not condemning the FL league and he hasn't the courage to acknowledge any of it.............And if you are curious here is what Luis really thinks of his own ethnic group...."FYI, I do coach and started a mostly Hispanic club. I do notice that other low income Hispanic clubs like ours display little discipline and unsporty behavior at times...."
Yes but I also said that I noticed the same from high income White people. My point was that bad sporting behavior existed in all races. You did not like that. Anyways, I proved my point. You say you dont associate or acknowledge people like me but You and me are the only ones posting these columns in response to each other. I didn't go to college, like you did, but I think that means you are indirectly responding to all of my posts. Therefore, you are acknowelding them. You talk about honor and courage but couldn't speak your mind as in an attempt to make yourself look good. Your posts are there and I will simply reference them for anyone who cares of getting to know you as you are. I will not mindlessly copy and paste everything and only what favors youre argument. Whoever is smart enough will understand that there is always 2 sides a story. No more will I acknowledge your nonsense. Last time. I promise. Viva Mexico & USA !! FCA all the WAY!!
Poor, poor Luis has said he won't acknowledge me ever again - that would be great! Maybe he will go back from that race-baiting hole he came from and not respond to anyone else. Unfortunately, we all know Luis is a lying piece of garbage - I would say he has said the same thing about 3-4 times in the past and, guess what, he continued to respond to my posts. This guy may well be the biggest liar I have ever associated with.................But probably the saddest part of all of this is I had no idea there were hispanics that had this victim, race-baiting mentality - there is no national figure who espouses this lack of accountability and responsibility - all I ever saw was tight-knit families with people that work hard. Unfortunately, I now realize that there are possibly people like Luis in the hispanic community and, worse, Luis is influencing children and parents. I do so hope that the other hispanics that often come on to these posts and tell Luis to shut his race-baiting, victimhood mouth will continue to do so.
Wow! This is unbelievable. How many years have Gordon and Luis been going at it? Do you guys work or have nothing better to do?
