Eight teams qualify for National Championships

[NATIONAL LEAGUE] Eight boys teams clinched berths at the 2013 U.S. Youth Soccer National Championships following the completion of National League play at ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Fla. Two Concorde Fire teams were among the teams to advance. Concorde Fire's U-18s, OBGC Rangers' U-17s and Sunrise Elite's U-15s clinched divisional crowns.

The top two teams in each division in the four age groups will join the regional champions in Overland Park, Kan. National League Boys action concludes March 15-17, at Bettye Wilson Soccer Complex in Las Vegas, Nev. Teams stagger their participation based on the high school season their players play.

National League Scoreboard

-- Concorde Fire's U-18s play to 1-1 tie with AHFC to seal the club's second league title in three years. In 2010, Concorde went on to win the club’s only national championship.

-- OBGC Rangers grabbed their first National League title after coming up a point short the past two years with a 4-2 victory over Region I champion Lehigh Valley United. OBGC matched its league record set last year with 22 goals scored on the season. It was once again led by Jeremy Ebobisse, whose seven goals could hold up for him to be the league leading scorer three years in a row.
