[NATIONAL LEAGUE] Team Chicago Academy Botafogo (U-18s) and Match Fit Chelsea Colchester (U-16) both clinched girls divisional titles in the 2013 U.S. YouthSoccer National League. They were among eight teams to clinch berths at this summer’s National Championships in Overland Park, Kan.

Team Chicago, which has has three National Team poolmembers and 17 players have committed to play collegiate soccer, became just the third girls team in the history of the league to finish with a perfect 7-0-0 record. In doing so, it scored 23 goals,the second best mark from a team, and conceded just three.

Match Fit Chelsea Beat also secured no worse than second place in its U-17 division and a berth in the finals with a win overPWSI Courage Gold in its final game at ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Fla.

The final weekend of National League play will take place March 15-17 in Las Vegas, Nev., alongside thePlayer’s College Showcase.

The top two finishers per division earn a spot at the National Championships. The four National League representatives will join the four regional champions inthe under-15 to under-18 age groups.
