Liverpool coach Brendan Rodgers responded to Luis Suarez’s admission that he dived against Stoke City earlier this season as being 'unacceptable,' and suggested that the Uruguayan could now be subjected to internal disciplinary measures.

"I've seen the comments late last night and this morning and I think it's wrong," Rodgers told reporters during a press conference. "Certainly from our perspective it is unacceptable. Rodgers was responding to comments made by Suarez in a Fox Sports Argentina interview where he said he had “invented” a foul against Stoke City in a Premier League game last fall because he wanted his team to win. In the same interview, the Uruguay international said his reputation for diving was exploited by the media.
