Report: Real Madrid Players Will Leave if Mourinho Stays Next Season

Jose Mourinho insists that all is well in the Real Madrid locker room and that he is not worried about his future. In a radio interview with French soccer legend Luis Fernandez, the Real coach said, "Everyone is looking for controversy surrounding me on a daily basis, and there isn't any. I'm doing my job and I'm not worried about what happens at the end of the season". He also warned his naysayers that Los Blancos are still in the hunt for the Copa del Rey and UEFA Champions League trophies: "I've never ended a season yet without celebrating something,” he said.

However, despite Mourinho’s claims, La Marca reports that Real Madrid captain Iker Casillas, who sustained a hand injury in the Copa del Rey aggregate victory against Valencia on Wednesday, and vice captain Sergio Ramos met with club president Florentino Perez earlier this week and told him that while the Real locker room is united, if the Portuguese coach is not gone by the end of the season, then they and several other top players will leave the club.
