[USA-SCOTLAND] More than 12,000 tickets have been sold for Wednesday's USA-Scotland match at LP Field in Nashville, Tenn. (streamed on ussoccer.com at 8 p.m. ET). Alex Morgan, who injured her ankle in Saturday's 4-1 win over Scotland on Saturday, will sit out
the match, which concludes a two-game series to kick off the USA's 2013 season under new coach Tom Sermanni.
The majority of the team consists of
players who will play in the new NWSL. Three players were recalled from Europe, including
Christen Press, who scored two goals in her
international debut on Saturday, is one of three European-based players in the squad. Midfielder Megan Rapinoe, who is playing for European champion Lyon in
France, did not play against Scotland on Saturday due to her late arrival but is in Sermanni's 18-player squad for the game in Nashville.
