Ruiz brings scoring efficiency to D.C. United

[BY THE NUMBERS: MLS] Carlos Ruiz, one of the most feared strikers in MLS history, returns to the league for his third tour. D.C. United, who signed the retired Guatemalan international with an allocation selection on Wednesday, is Ruiz's fifth MLS club and 11th club overall in a career that began in 1995. Ruiz ranks third among MLS's top 25 all-time leading scorers in goals per game with 82 goals in 150 games behind, only Taylor Twellman and Raul Diaz Arce.
