TIMBERS SWITCH TO MATCH ANALYSIS. The Portland Timbers have switched providers of video and technical analysis systems to California-based Match Analysis.

The multi-year agreement will give the Timbers' staff access to touch-by-touch video and statistical analysis of every MLS match using Match Analysis's Mambo Studio 5 software. In addition, coaches and players will have online access to detailed individual analytics and touch-by-touch player video through Match Analysis's Tango Online and be able to send video directly to players using the Tango ToGo system.

"We’re proud to be working with the Portland Timbers," said Match Analysis President Mark Brunkhart in a statement. "Understanding the emphasis the club puts on video and technical analysis as well as the aggressive goals of the club, Match Analysis is pleased to have been selected over the competition."
