Jupp Heynckes says that he and everyone involved with Bayern Munich is looking forward to the club’s UEFA Champions League quarterfinal clash with reigning Serie A champion Juventus next month.

“Right now, they are the best Italian side," the Bayern coach said. "They are a well-tuned team with a great defense but also a lot of quality in attack -- [Andrea] Pirlo, [Arturo] Vidal and many more. This will be great soccer, a great cup night. This is a strong opponent."

Bayern chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge agreed that it would be a special occasion but admitted that he was hoping to avoid the Italian champion. "They are not a dream draw," he said. "We will need two good games to advance to the semis. This is not a sure-fire success."

The last time Bayern played Juventus was in December 2009 with the German giant coming out a 4-1 victor en route to the 2010 Champions League final. However, winger Arjen Robben warned that this year’s Juve team is “much better” than in 2009, adding that midfielder Pirlo is “still one of the best in the world.”
