Kevin Trapp, Eintracht Frankfurt's 22-year-old starting goalkeeper, will miss the rest of the Bundesliga season after breaking his hand during a commercial shoot.
Trapp
was to appear in a publicity campaign for Germany's U-23 national team, for which he was slated to start against Israel on Sunday, when he fell and suffered the injury.

Trapp is unfortunate for Eintracht Frankfurt and certainly a major setback," Eintracht chief executive Heribert Bruchhagen said. "The medical prognosis is especially bitter. The
medical prognosis is especially bitter. ... We will discuss together with the German [soccer federation] and analyze exactly how the accident happened."
Trapp said: "I don't know what
happened. I started walking and all of a sudden I was down on the ground."
